TOWN OF BRINY BREEZES INFORMATION IS BEING PROVIDED BY BRINY BREEZES INC.

FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF ITS SHAREHOLDERS

Ordinances/Resolutions/Minutes: All ordinances and resolutions are decided by the Town Council at public meetings at which the public is invited to attend and allowed to make comment.

I. Ordinances

If the Town Council votes to adopt an ordinance, the ordinance is sent to a company which 'codifies' it into the Town Code. The codification process is managed by American Legal. The Code can be accessed online 'American Legal Briny Breezes Fl Laws', or by using the following link:  https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/brinybreezesfl/latest/overview

New Ordinances can be found under: Other Documents; New Ordinances until they are uploaded and available through the link above.

II. Resolutions

Resolutions apply to policy or action. (For example: Annual Town Budgets are adopted by resolution) A resolution demonstrates the Council discussed/voted and decided to approve an action. Many resolutions authorize the Mayor or Council Member to undertake a specific action.

When available, they can be found below: Other Documents; Resolutions

III. Minutes

Minutes are reviewed and approved by the Town Council a month following each meeting and kept at the Town of Briny Breezes office.

Agendas are legally required to be posted and always give a brief heading of Ordinances and Resolutions to be considered at the public meeting.

Notices of upcoming Meetings are posted on the bulletin boards located in the mailroom and on the front of the Briny Breezes Corporate Office.

Briny Breezes Town Council held a FEMA/Permits workshop on January 24th, 2025 which included a presentation by the Building Official to explain the NEW FEMA Flood Elevations (a/o Dec 20th) and requirements as they affect permitting etc.  The presentation can be found under "Other Documents"  as "Flood Provisions of the FLA Bldg Code-8th edtn.pdf".
